These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all business relationships between Steel Furniture of DEMETZ & MORORDER OHG, hereinafter referred to as Steel Furniture, and its customers. Deviating or additional terms of the customer shall not become a part of the contract unless expressly agreed to in writing by Steel Furniture.
Steel Furniture warrants that the manufactured steel furniture complies with the agreed specifications and applicable legal regulations. For a period of 3 years from the delivery date, Steel Furniture provides a guarantee for the products. This guarantee covers material and manufacturing defects. However, it excludes damages arising from improper use, normal wear and tear, or external influences. In case of a warranty claim, Steel Furniture reserves the right to repair, replace, or refund the purchase price at its own discretion.
Customers of Steel Furniture are responsible for the correct assembly, installation, and maintenance of the purchased steel furniture. Steel Furniture assumes no liability for damages or injuries caused by improper handling or neglect of these duties. Customers are responsible for complying with all local building codes, safety standards, and legal provisions related to the use of the steel furniture.
Payment terms are defined in accordance with the agreement between Steel Furniture and the customer. Delivery costs vary based on geographical distances. In case of payment default, Steel Furniture reserves the right to demand default interest at a rate of 5% above the respective base interest rate.
The company name "Steel Furniture" and the logo with the letters "ST" are intellectual property of DEMETZ & MORODER OHG. DEMETZ & MORODER OHG reserves the exclusive right to manage, modify, and utilize these trademarks. Without prior written consent from DEMETZ & MORODER OHG, third parties are not permitted to use, reproduce, or modify the trademarks in any form.
Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become wholly or partially ineffective, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. Changes or additions to these GTC require written form to be effective.
